Avustilian Species Guide

I created this little race while I was at work, as a way to clear my head and get back on track. I really enjoy these cuties and I wanted to share them with you. They are currently a closed species while I create a few colored examples before I open them up for a "Create Your Own" type thing.

About:
Avustilians are a cross between dragons and bird, they are often mistaken for gryphons due to their similar appearance. However, unlike their bird brained brothers Avustilians have a scaly dragon like appearance that gryphons lack.

Their body can be a mix of feathers and scales, most if not all have a soft skin like underbelly, however there have been many who lack this in their appearance.

Their range of size have made them a very interesting species and have been kept as many different things such as pets and mounts.
They do not speak our language and communicate through different tweet, whistles, and growls. Their voice can be as sweet as a song bird and as terrifying as a dragon's roar.
When they are happy Avustilian will sing a sweet song.

Their personalities vary and can be just about anything.
